CHU-U-YEN EVENTS and 1 Esplanade presented the second edition of Romancing the Bay: A Grand Bridal and Debutante Fair on July 21 and 22, 2007at 1 Esplanade in Pasay City. The affair - made possible by VS & F Classic Food International, Event Ambiance by Pido, Bern Mejias Photography, Konsepto, Printrade Society Printers, Dragon Fireworks, W@W.com, About Weddings, 88DB.com, and 101.9 For Life - showcased the expertise of food caterers, gown designers, event stylists, photographers, videographers, cake confectioners, souvenir makers and all other wedding-related product/service carriers.

Romancing the Bay 2, with the theme Elemental Magic, featured three experts in bridal couture - CARMEN LAZARO, NOBEL’S CREATION AND SAMMY AMANTE JR. These designers presented wedding collections drawing inspiration from the four elements of life - earth, wind, fire and water. Colors were played in such a way that each element was uniquely represented - cool hues of blues, sea greens and white symbolic of wind and water; ecological tones of browns, russets, greens and yellow golds representing earth; and, warm palettes of sunshiny yellow thru bright oranges to deep reds pertaining to fire. Each collection exuded a relaxed style that begs ease of movement, uncontrived tones and rich textures. Dragon Fireworks highlighted the show with its special indoor spark fountains display.
